Quick answer
Classify the link, then verify the destination
Treat Welisen spreadsheet links as labels to verify, not endorsements. Before opening a row, decide whether the link is meant to show a category, one product, an image album, QC photos, a converter, or official support. After it opens, check that the item, option, photos, measurements, and source context still match the label you started with.
Six link types that should not be treated the same
Category link
Useful for choosing a lane such as shoes, bags, or outerwear. It should reduce noise, not promise one recommended item.
Product link
Useful for inspecting a particular listing or option. Availability, price, variants, and photos can change after the row was saved.
Album link
Useful for visual browsing. Confirm whether captions, codes, or contact details actually connect the images to a current product page.
QC link
Useful for closer inspection. Check that the photo set belongs to the same model, color, size, or option you are comparing.
Converter link
Useful only if a URL format must change for another service. Treat uploads, redirects, permissions, and private data cautiously.
Support link
Useful for an account or transaction only when it belongs to the official service where the order or payment exists.
The source tells you what the link should do
Taobao, Weidian, or 1688 links should lead toward marketplace or supplier context. A Yupoo link usually points toward a visual album. In each case, compare the item title, model or option, photos, and measurements before treating the destination as the same product.
An original-looking URL is not a quality label. It can still be stale, incomplete, redirected, or tied to a different option.
A 20-second check before opening the link
- Read the visible domain. Does it match the type of destination the row describes?
- Read the label beside it. “Shoes,” “QC,” and “original link” describe very different expectations.
- Notice what the row already tells you. A link with no category, option, or useful note will usually create more work.
- Decide what would make you close it. For example: the wrong model, missing measurements, or an unrelated redirect.
This check is not a security guarantee. It simply stops a vague label from making the decision for you.
What to verify after the page opens
| Check | Useful signal | Reason to pause |
|---|---|---|
| Item identity | Title, photos, and category describe the same kind of item. | The row says one product while the destination shows another. |
| Option | Color, size, model, and included pieces are understandable. | The visible price appears tied to an unknown or cheaper option. |
| Evidence | Photos and measurements answer the category-specific questions. | The gallery is large but avoids scale, construction, or labels. |
| Source context | The destination explains what it is and where the information comes from. | Several unexplained redirects separate the row from the page. |
| Recency clues | The page has current, internally consistent details. | Dates, notes, options, and screenshots visibly disagree. |
How to recover from a broken or stale link
Do not immediately paste the URL into a chain of random converter tools. First preserve the useful clues from the row: category, product wording, model code, color, size, source platform, and any distinctive measurement.
- Search the category and the most specific neutral description.
- Add a model code or source term only when it genuinely narrows the result.
- Compare the new result with the saved photos and notes; do not assume it is the same item.
- If identity remains uncertain, mark the row unresolved and move on.
A broken link is not a challenge you must win. Sometimes the safest and fastest choice is to remove the row.
Converter and privacy red flags
- The tool asks for account credentials, payment details, or an authentication code just to inspect a public link.
- The destination is hidden behind repeated redirects or a forced download.
- The output changes the item, option, or source without explaining why.
- A stranger asks for private order screenshots to “recover” a public product link.
- The page claims urgency or official status but provides no clear identity or support path.
Welisen does not operate a link converter and cannot confirm the safety of an external tool.
One useful decision rule
Keep a link only when the destination confirms the same item and answers at least one question the spreadsheet row could not. If the link adds no clarity, it has not earned another place in your shortlist.
